I did alot of things

Today is my first day without work. I slept till 12pm. Wahahaha..... When I woke up, I saw that I have 20 missed calls! scary.. Richard wanted me to finish up the poster. Oh no.. I quicklt rushed through it and finally made it in time at 2pm. He came to my home to see it and after that we went together to Bras Basah to print it.

You guys are the first to see this poster!

I had a hard time sourcing for all those photos from various photo albums! The photos have to match their respective roles. Well, from the photos, can y0u guess who is acting what?

We printed 20 pieces then proceeded to COI to photocopy 200 pieces for distribution on this coming Saturday. Richard asked me to print the tickets but I havent done so... :P

After that, Susan called me. She want to come pick me up to SL for practice at 5pm. It was still early so Richard dropped me off at Bugis. I shopped alone for awhile, it's boring to shop alone. Fortunately, Susan arrived at 5:10pm and we went together to SL.

Today, Uncle Lim refined our movements and pointed out all the little mistakes we made. It is a good thing as I felt that few few teacher can really refine your movements to this kind of extent. Most teachers just close one eye and say,"You are doing fine." I don't want to be just fine.

This is Uncle Lim teacher Mei Er to pose. Don't see Uncle Lim like so stylo malo like that. He can really be very 'girl' when he is teaching the Dans.

Practice went on and on until about 7:30pm, Susan sent me home. So nice of her~

When I reached home, I painted my white flower green. I need a green flower for this Saturday's show to put on my head. Surprisngly, this painting work took me like 45 minutes! But the result is satisfying.

I know it looks like cabbage or Cai Xin but I DON'T allow anyone to laugh at my flower!

-_-"

Then I started painting my face.... :P I mean putting on make up. I want to practice my make up skills a bit but I am still unsatisfied with the results. Fortunately, teacher is going to help us put on the make up on this Sat.

All photos in this blog is taken by my hp, so please forgive the blurness. I know my photo a bit scary la..

Then while I am thinking of what to blog tonight... my mother suddenly shouted,"LOOK!"

I turned around and saw one of the most ridiculous scene in my life. I saw this.....

...

...

Believe it or not, this is my father..... I shouted," PLEASE STOP PLAYING WITH MY FLOWER!"

Why did you do a half-collage for your poster? Seemed very cramped. I prefer to use the simplistic and minimalistic approach. But sourcing for photographs is a real headache. I've been through that and still going through it! Your father damn wacky. Haha... Luckily he didn't play with your costumes. Hahaha....

But a little bit of whiteness in each petal might look nicer also. I think I know who is Yingying already. She's not too bad, in my opinion.

AC: Unfortunately, my father already worn my costume before.. without my notice also! I didn't manage to take a photo though...

The poster was also done in half a day cuz they wanted to distribute it on 4 march. You know, when you put some photos inside the photo, you have to put the photos of ALL the members and that sucks because it will make my poster look crowded. I rather put only the photos of the main leads... or the more major characters.. Imagine the whole poster filled with maids and soldiers!

shadow some of them as ur background lor. main character use normal colors n put them in foreground

I can imagine if you guys do "Shen Gong Yuan", there'll be no space for wordings! 8 x palace maids + 8 x imperial guards + 8 x eunuches + 4 x ensemble guards + 4 x ensemble maids = 32 ppl already! And that's excluding the main cast also. Hee...

mingde: That will make the rest of them look like ghosts. Nah.. bad idea.. I think the best is to put at most 5 ppl in a poster.

AC: Even excluding those extras you employed for the eunuchs soldiers etc, there are still at least 10 major characters in the show right. Each of them has to be in the poster.

After having 32 extras crowding around the poster, do you think the major roles even have chance to show at least half their face? Hee...
