Ekin Concert!

My tickets to an immensely passionate and exciting concert.....

The concert that we have been waiting for 11 years~

We have got good seats because we bought the tickets early, even before they released it. We asked the HK fans club to get them.

Initially we wanted to watch Ekin pray outside the concert hall but then there was a very very big crowd there already and the rain is starting to fall and the weather was so damn cold. I saw a Japanese girl wearing Kimono there, waiting fo Ekin to come out to pray. I used my jacket to shield myself from the rain and then my friend took a picture of me.

Abit look like ghost lor but not bad lah. Natural shot. LOL. We couldn't stand the cold so we gave up and went to Mcdonald's instead. We missed the praying session.

At Mac, we started cam whoring.. Hahaha.. Nothing else better to do.

The concert was fantastic! Ekin sang with lots of feelings as the last time he had a concert was 11 years ago. He really felt grateful and touched that he is able to stand in this stadium again with a full house. Yes, tickets sold out in like 2 days.

After so many nonsense photos of us... Let's look at Ekin's handsome photos. Of course I never took these. These were taken by pro photographer that night and I got them off the Ekin website. Enjoy!

In his conert, Ekin was really very emotional. He said that he never knew that he will one day stand on this stage again. He cried when he sang 感激我遇见. He said that he really 感激 all the fans whom he knew supported him throughout all these tough days. All these years, never change. Ekin's PA, Shan shan (I mentioned her in my previous entry), said that Ekin hasn't changed over the years and so does his fans. The fans used to be little girls and call him Ekin gor gor. Now, his fans are all grown up and bringing their kids to watch the concert!

We didn't change through out so many years when he was down. Yes, that is us! LOL, we have been liking him for like.. 14 years liao. Had never change and will never change!

At Shan shan's speech, Ekin cried.. He was touched that his fans were so supportive and that both nights of his concerts were full. I remembered that when he was in SG, he told us during our gathering that he was afraid that no one will come to his concert. :)

Ekin cried so much that he couldn't finish singing 感激我遇见. The fans finished it for him. He said that this song brought him alot of feelings and emotions. It totally described how he felt about his fans... Ohhhh.. Make us cry with him with his words leh...

Man.. I listening to this song now, I felt like crying also.. Haiz.. It's just so touching lor. All the fans crying with him. Imagine that. I think I will cry now whenever I hear this song.



Something unbelievably happened after the concert. Ekin had 4 ENCORES!!! My god. I have never been to a concert where the singer had 4 encores before! It's like he went down but no one left. Not even those at the last rows. ALL OF THEM stayed and shouted encore. Ekin came up and he sang one song. After that he went down again but the fans refused to leave and keep shouting and screaming till Ekin came up the second time. Sang another song.

He came up 4 times! LOL The announcement kept telling the audience to pack up and go but nobody left! In the end Ekin didn't use the rising stage to come up. He climbed the stairs instead. When the last time he came up, he didn't sing anything. He just cried and said thanks to everybody for coming and bye bye.

What a touching scene. 4 encores!!! Haiz. I wanna see his concert again!!!

LOL Someone said that I gonna blog about Ekin this whole month. No la... I won't. I will blog other stuff too but the most exciting that happened this month is Ekin. I took a video of the encore on the first night. The first night, some last row audiences left and there is only 1 encore.

I appeared on Ch8!

LOL, I didn't know about the filming, I didn't know that they will be showing my big round face on national TV. I didn't know anything about it and yet Mediacorp put my round face on TV when interviewing my Musical Association Chairman.

I remembered that on that day I was in a rush to go to the temple from the library that I did my make up in.... 15 minutes? I didn't even put my fake lashes lor. If I know my face will be on TV, I will put on the lashes sia. Hahaha..

Yesterday, I was looking at the photos I took in Hongkong when my mum shouted me to watch Ch8. I thought what the hell sia... Then I saw first my chairman being interviewed. Later on, they played a part of my performance in the temple. My god. My face is very pale lor... Haiz.

I was performing a part from '益春留伞'. Wah liew,. I should powder my face more... Shit.

LOL, thank you Mediacorp, for putting my round face on national TV. I hope my opera teacher don't see this.

Bye Everyone!

Bye bye everyone. I am leaving tonight to Hongkong. It's going to be an exciting trip because I can finally escape the ridiculous 32C temperature in Singapore. It's quite cold in HK now. About 14C. It's the first time that my brother is going to experience a temperature that low so he is quite excited too. Most importantly, we are both very excited to see Ekin's concert!

Then we will be going to Disneyland again. Yes de. It's repeated for me but then I think it's ok because I heard that the winter decorations are really beautiful.

Also, we have made some cardboards to hold during the concert. So that Ekin know that we didn't just tell him we will go HK to see his concert but never turn up. We turned up as promised!

I hope that this time we will have a chance to have dinner or lunch with Ekin so that I got chance to talk to him!

Relativity

Is it possible for a pair of twins to have age differently? One is 20 and the other is 10 years old?

First thought that I have is, bull crap. How is that possible?? Think about it.. It is actually possible, according to Einstein theory of relativity.

This concept and idea really excite me. I wanted to know how it is possible that such a thing can happen? Being the curious person I am, I decided to read up on this. Last week, I spent one whole night reading up on this theory .. Think I spent about 5 hours but I understood naught.

I like to ask questions since I know how to talk and I ask a lot of weird things. My parents and grandma used to get frustrated with all the questions I asked. Like how the sun works and why the moon is shiny when there is no fire on it.. Things like that.


Soon, my parents and grandma gave up on me because I asked too much and they couldn't answer me anymore. I had to do my own research. After I have done my research, I will tell my parents, "Do you know that ....."


The latest one I told them was... "Do you know that we are all fishes?" LOL.... I saw a book today about this theory in Kinokuniya... Tempted to buy...

Apparently, according to Einstein's Relativity theory, 2 person who were borned on the same day CAN... I repeat.. CAN have different age!


Let me describe the scenario.


A pair of twins were separated at birth. One was put stationar on earth and the other was put into a rocket which traveled at the speed of light. 20 years later, the twin in the rocket came back to earth and went to find her other twin. We would expect both to be 20 years old right? Wrong. Apparently, the one in the rocket is only 10 years old, while the one on Earth is already 20 years old. The difference is really little... and is only so dramatic if you travel at the speed of light.


It's a really weird thing. I don't get it. I read a lot of articles on it but I still can't imagine the logic behind this.


Does this means that the saying of 天上十天，人间十年 really exist? I thought this only exists in TV programs. You may search on the internet about this idea under 'Twin Paradox'. There are many articles on it.


To understand more about this theory, I have since stared reading about it.

Books I bought and borrowed form the library. The dreaded thing is my maths sucks. So sometimes I don't understand the formulas inside the book. Nonetheless, it is an intriguing idea that I wanna share with you.

Do you know any beginner's book about relativity that is good? You can intro me!

I also borrowed this following book from the library and I think it's good.. It's not relativity. It's about evolution. Remember that we are all fishes? lol....

There are pictures and diagrams in it to help you understand the theory.

There are so many interesting on earth that I can never finish reading and understanding about!

To Hongkong Again

It's crazy but yes, I am going to Hongkong again for the second time this year. :P I had no choice because apparently my dearest Ekin decided to have his concert on 18 and 19 Dec. I couldn't miss this concert as he hasn't had a concert since 1998.. 11 years ago! I must be there to show support.

I was surprised that Ekin's 2 days concert tickets were sold out 2 days after it was released! Thank god we have some connection with the people there and manage to secure tickets for me and my bro. Yes, my brother is going to tag along this time. This is the first time that I am bringing my brother anywhere. He hasn't been out of Singapore for 9 years already! He is also very excited about visiting HK and to see Ekin's concert.

Also, I heard that Disneyland's winter theme this year is super nice. So I will be visiting it again! Yes, I am crazy to go Disneyland twice a year but I can't let my brother go there alone. He will get lost in it and cannot find his way back to the hotel.

Sexy??

Ya, so I will be gone again from 16 Dec to 22 Dec. Will be in HK to enjoy the cold weather for awhile. Cannot stand this hot weather here it's driving my nuts. Wait for my photos! Yes, again!

The Storm Warriors

Finally, the Storm Warriors is coming on screen on 10 DECEMBER~ Everyone please don't miss this movie ok. It's going to be very nice I believe and some more there is my beloved Ekin. He is just so damn cool in the show lor. I can't believe his coolness~!

You don't believe his coolnes you can see the video below! I love his costumes, his hair, his sword, everything! If I am a xiao sheng (male roles), I will make a costume the same as the one Ekin wear lor! Then I will find a chance to wear it in my performance! HAhahaa.. I am so mad right? I cant believe my own madness also lor. And then I can also style my hair like Ekin in the movie... He is just so unbelievably cool.



Please please, everyone has to see this movie. I must admit that besides my beloved Ekin, Aaron kwok is also cool lah. He is cool in his own way but I prefer Ekin lor... Wah liao.. but I think even if I do xiao sheng I won't be half as cool as Ekin leh... My god.... This is so crazy I feel like screaming.

Ekin in Town again!

My beloved Ekin is in town again promoting his latest movie, The Storm Warriors. This time, he is coming with Aaron Kwok and 2 directors. It's amazing how time flies. I remembered that I was there at the promotion of The Storm Riders 1 in 1998. 11 years has past and now here I am again, supporting Ekin in his sequel to that movie. LOL. That time, I saw Aaron Kwok too and the 2 of them really didn't change at all! They never age! My goodness..

Isn't he cute in this photo? I took many cute photos of him. Nowadays, it's easier to and more cost effective to take photos of EKin unlike 11 years ago when I need to develop all the films and they costed me a bomb!

Then GV decided to give the Ekin and the rest a teddy bear. It's kind of irrelevant to the movie and the theme lor. I don't know why they choose to give the bear but it's cute when Ekin holds it. :P














While watching the event, there was this China chinese girl beside me who was damn rude lor! She kept pushing and squeezing the others and when the staff gave out free gifts, she greedily takes about 3 or 4 of them depriving the others from taking. She even snatched one from me! What a pest.

After this event at PS, my friends and I decided to go to Swissotel to wait for Ekin's return. He had to go to Vivo for another event so he won't be back that soon. We had plenty of time. While waiting, we talked and joked abit...

Finally at about 9:30pm, Ekin came back. He saw us and recognised us immediately. He told us that he is sick and that he can't stay there to talk to us that day. Poor Ekin, he really looked sick. We told him that we will be sending him off at the airport the next day.

We didn't see Aaron Kwok and the directors coming back to the hotel so I guessed that they must have gone out to play while poor Ekin return to the hotel first.

The next day, Ekin was still sick. He had a bad stomachache. We saw his van arrived at T2 but he did not get off the van. As usual, the asisstants and the directors will get off the van and check in first while Ekin and Aaron will stay in the van to avoid the mobs.

Finally Ekin got off the van and headed for the toilets, with the protection of 2 security guards.

Shan shan and the directors then went to the check in counter. Shan Shan is Ekin's PA. We talked to her abit and asked about if Ekin is getting better and about Ekin's coming concert in Dec. We told her that Ekin's concert tickets were sold out 2 days after it was released. She was surprised too and we asked if Ekin will extend his concert. She said that apparently, Sammi will be having a concert there after Ekin so he will not be extending it.

Then someone pass 'My Paper' to Shan shan and told her got Ekin's news inside. She flipped opened the papers to the page and told us that the quality of newspaper printing is so good here. Ekin's photos appeared wonderful. I didn't know about HK newspapers. I never bought 1 before. Then she noticed the little columns at the bottom of the page with the meaning of some difficult words explained. She said that it's cute and she has never seen something like that before. The directors and the others crowded around her to see the little 'dictionary' below.

I told Shan shan that the chinese 'My Paper' has the same thing too. Some difficult words were explained at the bottom. LOL, They find it very interesting and cute.

At this point. Shan shan realised that Ekin has been in the toilet for a very long time. The directors joked that Ekin has 入魔 in the toilet cubicle. (Ekin 入魔 in this latest movie). Then the other director said that Ekin probably go in and out of the cubicle, there will be an explosion in the toilets.

Finally Ekin came out. This time, we didn't have any chance to take pics because Ekin was feeling terrible. He quickly ask Shan shan to check in. He went in and from the picture below, I can see Ekin was feeling terrible.

After he got through the gates, he immediately went searching for another toilet. Poor Ekin!

Throughout the time spent at the airport, I didn't see Aaron at all.. LOL...
