Rekindled Old Love

Never have I thought that I will relight my old love for him. It's like at least 7 years never seen him le. I almost forgot about him liao until he came to Singapore today.

A few days ago, my friend sent mass emails to us, the old club members, and asked if we are interested to attend the event today at Vivo City. At first, I thought I might not go because I am still a little sick and it has been so long since I last attended his event. I already forgot how crazy I used to be when I was a siao kia teenager. LOL.

Then, I thought since I am jobless and doing nothing at home, I might as well go for the event and can also see some old friends whom I did not see for years too. I am so surprised that they are still so loyal and supportive after all these years. It was great seeing them again and it was great to find back my teenage years craziness. Hahaha...

Know what I am talking about? I am talking about my super dashing, super handsome, super suave, super cool, super macho, super stylo, super man, super cannot tahan de yandaoness, super duper cute.... EKIN CHENG.

I think I blogged some time ago that I used to be an ardent fan of Ekin. I never missed his movies and I got all his albums, including the compilations. He was the first idol I had and the one that I supported loyally throughout my teenage years. LOL, those days were really cool.. Missed them so much.

Right now, everyone is talking about Ming hua yuan and their yandao xiaosheng and their nice costumes. Hahaha, how ironic, I am not watching ming hua yuan but I am queueing up to see Ekin. He is here this time to promote his new movie, Feng Yun 2, which will only be out in December. Oh my god, he is still as handsome as last time, though he has become thin. Aww, he is still sooooo cute. I can't believe that I have been his fan for 13 years. My other fans friends also can't believe time flies so fast. All of them are working now, some even married with children. LOL. Xiang dang nian, we were all 10+ years old only. Heee....

I remember last time I watched Feng yun 1 for 6 times! I think he probably remembers our group because we were super loyal lor and always request funny things and make funny things for him. Like tomorrow, we requested to have a private coffee session with him and he agreed. Can't tell you where it is tho... It's at his hotel there.. :P

He has not grown long hair for a long time but because of this show, he has got his long hair back. He need his beautiful flowing hair to act as Nie Feng.. I love his long hair.. :P And also previously, he purposely grow fat for a show and now, he is so thin again! I wonder if he is just too stress.

Sick like never sick before

Hi!!! I came back to SG for 1 week le but I didn't blog anything yet for the past 1 week? You never wonder why I so quiet meh? Never sms me.... sian...

Last Wednesday, KL passed me this super fever and never had fever for like 20 years. I already forgot how it felt like to have a fever. On Wednesday itself, my temperature shot up to lie 39.3C! I was so dead tired I slept at home whole day till my mum force me to go see doctor. We went to this neighbourhood GP and she didn't ask me to check for H1N1. She just gave me the usual anti biotics, cough syrup, lozenges etc. Then I struggled home....

After that day I have seen the doctor, my temperauture fluctuated up and down. It goes to 39C then came down to 37.6C then went up again to 38C.. At night when I tried to sleep, it went right up to 39C again. Pek cek leh. The GP medicine like didn't work so KL brought me to SGH to see doctor, he scared that it's H1N1. He should bring me see doctor lor cuz he passed the damn fever to me mah.....

In the end, I didn't do a blood test in SGH but KL did. He cleared the blood test so I guess I should not have H1N1 too. The SGH doctor gave me anti-biotics which I took till today. Right now my temperature is 37.4C, still a distant from my normal 35.5C.

I hope I can quickly recover so that I can go out play again~

BTW, my trip was FABULOUS! I will blog about it when I am better~

Please don't tell anyone but today is my last day of work. LOL. After slogging like years after my poly graduation, I have decided to take a break. A real relaxing long break. Hahaha... Please don't be jealous of me because it will mean that I am not getting any money for a few months. It's sad to be living on savings alone but that's ok for awhile. Meanwhile can concentrate on moving house... what? You don't know that I am moving? Lol.. but yah, I am moving around August or September I think.

YAY! I am going off this sunday to Macau, HK and guangzhou! Mad right? I know, at a recession period like this and a flu virus flying around, I am still going to those affected countries. But you know what? This is actually the BEST time to travel! Because everything will be going cheap. Air ticket cheap, hotel cheap.. everything discounted! Therefore, I gan gan go holiday for 9 days. Yup. I am going from 5 July to 13 July. It's cool to be able to buy air tickets on any day you want without worrying about taking leave. I just randomly selected the dates without know which day it is. I found out that it's Sunday departure and Monday Arrival. Weird dates but who cares?!

Cuz I am a free person now! And nothing matters anymore.

I will be going Disneyland and The Peak and watch the Symphony of lights. It's all going to be so super cool. I can't wait to leave!

It's been long time since I have been so excited and happy. I don't know why I am so happy about losing my job and having no income. LOL. Anyway, I am tired of working. Rest first then find another job.

Michael Jackson RIP

I heard the news of his death rather early because KL was sending me to work that morning and we heard the news over the radio early in the morning. I was very very shock to know that he is dead. In fact it is unbelievable. Though I am not a fan of Michael Jackson, I cannot deny that I listened to his songs when I was kid too. In my impression, he is like a legend. So many fans love him! I have seen cut scenes of him having public appearances and everywhere he goes, it's always flooded with people.

When I was a kid, I was also amazed that he got his own amusement Park at home, Neverland. I though it will be so cool if I have my own amusement park too.

I am quite sad that he is really dead. Even though he has got many scandals and bad rumours, nobody can deny that he is indeed an incredible singer. He has got a very powerful voice and he got the superstar looks. Of cuz after his face got distorted, he looked terrible but I like the way he looked when he was younger and not that fair yet.

I love many of his songs. Though I am not a fan, think I mentioned it just now, I admire his talents in dance and singing. He will always be a superstar in the eyes of his fans.

Eat Shit

I think you guys must have read about my friend, Henry, before right? I blogged about him a few times.

Recently, I took his "How well do you know me" test and I got 100%! Haha, I didn't know that I still know him so well or should I say that he didn't change at all. Lol.

One of his questions was very funny. It was a question which we discussed before and we laughed so much over it at that time. The question is:

If you walked along the streets 1 day and accidentally eat shit, what would you do 1st?

This is a super random question that Henry just thought of out of thin air. It's very stupid lor and I dunno what is in his brain really.

The answers we got from the various lame people includes:

1)Wipe it off

2)Look around to make sure nobody's looking, then continue eating

3)Curse and swear

4)Stop and think how the heck that happened

5)Laugh

Hahah, damn stupid right. Apparently, my friend, Henry and Vincent, said that they will laugh and laugh non stop. Why? Because its very stupid to accidentally eat shit when you are walking along the street. How can something so random like this happen? Oh my god.

What will you do if you eat shit accidentally one day?

Jakarta Madness

You guys remember that I went to Jakarta for a performance last month? It was quite a fruitful and fun trip. This was the first time that I go on a trip with this troupe and the experience was very nice too. They are also really funny people.

At the backstage of the theatre, I saw a notice. It's so funny that I just have to take a photo of it. Please don't say I am very bad ok. I am just sharing with you all.

The performance was a long and tedious day. We rehearsed, test mic, rehearsed for the whole day! And we didn't even get to check in the hotel first. Basically, we rushed to the theatre immediately after we got off the plane. Steady bo? We almost died of exhaustion at the end of the day.

Back at the hotel Miss Yayi continued with her nonsense.

She is pretending to be a really busy businesswoman. And she called up Susan's room saying," This is the DMC Headquarters. Please report here immediately."

Susan also very mad lor, she played along with her and reached our room 5 min later.

Still role playing as a business woman.

She started writing a letter to her subordinates, Susan and me. As the chair woman of DMC Headquaters, she has the need to comment on our performance today.

We stayed in a 5 star hotel. The organiser was very good. This hotel is very nice and comfy.

Look at the soap bottles! They are like the borobodur temple I went to last year. Remember the photos I took that time? They look like this too. Cute.

Outside the window, we can see Jakarta. The buildings around us are all short short one. I should bring swimming costume then I can go swimming~ Shiok.

The security outside scan every bag that goes through the door. Even the shopping bags they also scan. This hotel is very strict with their security. We even need to go through the metal sensor when we enter the hotel. I think they are afraid of terrorist attacks ba.

So many luggages. We are scary right... All those belong to us.

We were lucky that our plane decided to land on T3 instead of the scheduled T2. T3 was very beautiful and the toilet looks like a good place to hangout!

The Mango Ice

As in my previous post, I wrote that I went to HK cafe for supper with YH after a performance. Oh yah, just a side note, I have the habit of wearing my cai yi and cai ku to my performance directly to avoid the hassle of changing clothes so apparently, that day I went to HK cafe with my cai yi and cai ku too because I have no clothes to change. LOL. I hope no one notice my weird dressing.

We ordered a mango ice mountain to share. You know HK cafe is very famous for th Mango ice mountain.



See our beautiful mango ice, with the snow ball on top. It looks so pretty. But little did it know that it will end in a sad state 20 minutes later.

We started off eating the side. Slowly, the side became thinner and thinner. I was afraid that the snow ball will topple over so I quickly moved it to the side of the plate. We then continue to eat the side of the mountain.

I saw that the side is become thinner and our mountain is starting to look like a ice stick. An idea struck me and I started hitting the top of the ice stick. I thought that will make it shorter so it will be less likely to fall apart.

YH: Can I know what are you doing?

Me: I am trying to make this thing collapse.

YH: Mad or what?!

Me: It's going to fall apart leh if we continue to eat like this.


By this time, I have successfully hit the top part till.......

YH: If you make the thing collapse it's going to melt very fast leh!

I didn't think of that though.

Me: Oh yah, it's going to melt in the syrup.

YH: I think you also don't want to see such a thing happen right?

Me: Nope....

YH: Then can you please stop hacking the thing?

Me: ok...

I thoought this conversation was kinda funny. Lol... because YH said 我想你也不希望这样的事情发生对不对？Like very serious lidat lor....

Btw, YH helped me get a 50% discount at Hangten! So I bought this T-shirt and jacket there at a very good price! Oh my god. Singapore sale coming again........

The dumpling story

Happy Dumpling Festival!!!!

Once again it's he dumpling festival and I like to eat dumplings. It's a good festival for me.

Yday after my performance, me and yh went to HK cafe for supper and drinks. We were talking about the normal things like how was the show and what the audience feel about it and what mistakes we made etc.

Suddenly, YH very seriously ask me,"I ask you ah, in my office, there is a pantry, in the pantry, there is a dustbin. The dustbin is not very small or big, just like a home use dustbin. In it, you see a half eaten dumpling, someone threw it there. What are your views on this matter?

I find that it is very funny that yh ask me this question in such a serious manner so I laughed my head off. She insisted I give her an answer so I told her,"My first reaction will be wondering who is so disgusting to throw a half eaten dumpling in a pantry dustbin. It could attract cockroaches."

YH laughed and said that apparently normal people like me and her will think of this matter as a whole.

YH: I asked Micheal this question this afternoon and you know what he tell me?
Me: What?
YH: He said that the dumpling is NOT nice.
Me: Hahahahaha
YH: I never expected him to give me this answer lor. I was expecting him to say either its ok to throw in the dustbin or it's not ok to throw it there.
Me: Hahahaha..
YH: He insisted his answer is correct and that normal people will react by saying the dumpling is not nice. He even ask me is it my office don't allow people to eat dumplings.

It was sooooo funny. I laughed until stomachache.

Apparently, Micheal will be asking his friends this same question and see what kind of answer they will give but YH proved her theory right because I never thought about whether the dumpling is nice or not.

YH said that maybe guys will give this kind of answer while girls give the other.

To certify this further, I called up KL and ask him the same question. He told me............ Dumpling not nice.

LOL, apparently YH theory is right. So KL asked his friend about it and his friend, a guy, and he replied the same thing too, because the dumpling not nice.

Wah liew, apparently, Micheal's answer is not that odd after all.

To confirm, I called up peijia and ask her about it. She thought about it for very long. I told her not to think too long on this question. Then she laughed and said that her answer is why someone will throw a half eaten dumpling there.

Hahahaha, the theory has been provened correct. Guys will only consider if the dumpling is nice or not, they won't care about the hygiene matter of throwing a dumpling in a pantry dustbin. Girls on the other hand don't give a damn about if the dumpling is good because I don't think we are interested to take that dumpling and eat it. We will normally care more about the cleanliness.

New Family Member!

I got a new member in my family, my baby! Awww, it's so cute and sweet and is my latest darling. I am so happy to have it to join my family!!!

Nintendo DS Lite!

And it is in sweet pink colour, isn't she a beauty? Went shopping the other day and I saw this incredible offer for a set of pink NDS with 2gb card and games for just $216! So I bought it without much hesitation. I didn't regret. It's cute and fun!

My other baby, PSP, wasn't neglected either. Recently he has a very important mission. That is to keep many Heroes episodes in him so that I can watch them on the go. I have been addicted to watching Heroes and that explained the lack of postings here. I used my free time to watch Heroes and now I got to play with NDS too.

Fun in Jakarta

I am back after 2 crazy days at Jakarta. Lol. The first day was damn tedious. We got to the airport at 5.30am, got on the plane at 7.30am and the plane was supposed to fly at 7.50am.

Ho ho... first of all show u guys my new baby, Da Mung. He is mung mung little brother. hee hee...

I can never rotate this picture so bo bian.. its like this. But you can see that da mung is very cute.

When we got into the plan something happened.....

Surprise surprise. It was SQ we took that day and we were all belted up waiting for the plane to take off when the announcement came..

Dear Passengers, we are doing a maintainence check which revealed an error in the plane. The error has been resolved but nontheless, we decided to change the aircraft. Please kindly remove your baggage and wait at the transit area for the next flight at 9.45am.

We were all like, what the ????

Some of us were already fast asleep, some were comfortably lying on their pillows getting ready to sleep when we were told to change plane. Lol. It's funny or what. So in the end, we all got out of the plane and snoop around airport. We were in Terminal 2 which looks similar to Terminal 1. Yayi went to take a look at her perfumes. She has been wanting to get one. Susan tagged along with us. I saw the perfume which KL wants to buy. It's $122. Damn ex.

Then after walking around, me and yayi started fooling around on the travellators. Hahaha.. We walked backwards on it and it felt like walking on a threadmill, like we were not moving at all. Susan thought that we were crazy. We were indeed crazy and laughing so much. Suddenly, I told yayi to stop fooling around else the security will chase us out. :P

Suddenly we spotted the OSIM Isqueeze. Yayi thought that we will need to pay to use that but I told her its free. We both raced towards the massager and Susan came with us. We wanted to let Susan do the massage first as she is eldest. We should respect old people mah. She didn't want to try it so never mind lah, we both did it. Hahaha.. Susan poor thing. She ended up taking photos for us.

After spending like 15 minutes on the OSIM, we decided that it's time to go to the boarding gate. SQ has prepared refreshments for us to compensate for their ridiculous delay in our flight. Some people were happy with just the refreshments but some people complained that they cannot afford to be delayed.
