Just had my Dinner and Dance yesterday. It was quite a nice dinner and we had it at IndoChine, Bar Opiume. I specially went to curl up my hair that day for the dinner and I love the curls! Unfortunately, I can't make them permanent as I still need them for opera.

Took this pic outside as the Bar Opiume was pretty dark. I want to take a photo of the curls! But too bad la. I never bring my camera. So can only use HP to take lor.

See Bar opiume is actually quite a nice place. The deco is very cool and the ambience was good. I am not a drinker but I am trying to be one. My manager forced me to drink some white wine. I dun like leh. Too sour. I prefer cocktails. So she recommended me this Lychee Martini which I thought was kinda nice.

Our dinner was Vietnamese food. I love it! I like especially those rice paper spring rolls. Healthy and Yummy!

Then we had some games and the MC was a good. He was funny and made lots of silly comments, liven up the atmosphere~ There was a lucky draw too and the grand price was a 27" LCD TV. I didn't win any lucky draw lor. I am just so suay. There were other great prizes like Digi cam 7.1 px with a printer included and a Nokia phone and a MP3 player. But I never win anything! Suayz.

The whole fuction ended at around 10:30pm. Quite early in my opinion but I got my own appointment after the DnD la. Hee hee...

BBQ

That time remember YH blogged about the bq at my place. Yah, I got take some photos but that time I didnt have my bluetooth so I can't blog about it. Now that the BT is back, I am going to post up some photos too!~

We were all happily bbqing and you can see May at the pit there bbqing her favourite crabstick. She want to make the crabstick crispy and bloated. After much hard efforts, she finally made some and ask our dearest richard to put them on a plate. Unfortunately, Richard decided to act smart and used the tongs to hold up about 7 crabsticks and walked to the table to put them on a plate. Just plain lazy in my opinion. He could have took a plate to the pit instead.

And so, accident happened.He dropped all the crabsticks on the floor! Frantically he wanted to quickly pick up the crabsticks without May noticing him but it was too late. May already saw and she screamed at the top of her voice.

"BALA!!!!!!"

Then she started scolding Bala upside down.

That is May, scolding Bala. Bala was still trying to pick up the crabsticks.

Poor May. And so, she got to bbq the crabsticks all over again!~

Then unfortunately, another accident happened. The pit caught fire. Everyone started to panick and tried to distinguish the fire by fanning it furiously.

I took this photo when the fire was gone but you can see Richard still trying to fan the fire. Then he picked up all the chaota chicken wings from the pit to give the rest to eat!

It started raining and everyone started packing up. See everyone busy clearing the stuff. The cake for my sis was not cut yet and so we went up to cut the bday cake~

My sis very happy cuz she got 2 cakes! hahaha

Fire Drill

Today we were informed that there will be a fire drill. Rather suay as today is a busy day. My partner was gone for a workshop so I got to cover her work. Tired like hell. So around 9.30am, the fire alarm screamed and we still dilly dally in the office. I still drink some more tea before heading downstairs.

Slowly, we walked down the stairs from our 9th floor office. We were supposed to head for the carpark near to the Carribean Condo. Along the way, there was sea breeze lightly blowing at us. So cooling. Listening to the sea waves splashing onto the rocks..

We were walking along this passageway towards the carpark. I dunno what the guys in front were pointing at but I think they must be pointing at the cable cars tower..

Then I saw this harpoon gun to my surprise. I don't expect to see a hapoon gun on Keppel Bay lor. I tot they only exist on Ｓｅｎｔｏｓａ?　Ａ　ｎｅｗ　ｄｉｓｃｏｖｅｒｙ　ｙｏ．

Ｔｈｅｎ　ｔｈｅ　ｐｐｌ　ａｌｌ　ｃｒｏｗｎ　ｉｎ　ｔｈｉｓ　ｃａｒｐａｒｋ　ｔｏ　ｔａｋｅ　ａｔｔｅｎｄａｎｃｅ．　Ｉｔ＇ｓｇｏｉｎｇ　ｔｏ　ｒａｉｎ! My god and they are still not done with the fire drill..

Meanwhile, took a photo of this Carribean condo. I think it's quite a nice condo.. After awhile, we were allowed to go back. So we made our way back, passing by the harpoon gun and passing by the sea side. Back to office to work. so sian...

Fussy me

I am a virgo and virgos are said to be very perfectionist. I dunno if I am one. Sometimes I am not so perfectionist leh. I dun ask for alot but then sometimes I do silly things just to make things perfect. One good example.....

I was looking at some documents and I saw this file fastener like this..
One side is longer than the other side. Wah liew.. Cannot tahan leh. Why one side is longer? Like that not balance. So I will adjust it.

Like this, both sides are equal long. Hahahaa..

I felt much comfortable after adjusting it. Hahaha..

Gifts

Recently, some inspectors in my company gave me some gifts when they go overseas. This is really a peak season to go abroad. So many of my inspectors went overseas. Good sia.


Guess what is this? Hee hee.. cute or not.

Its a mirror!! hahaha. .cute right.

Another one went to Taiwan and I asked him to buy me SUN KUEH! haha.. he bought a box of tai yang bing and one box of feng huang su for me. So nice. :D

Dressing up?

Amai keep commenting that recently I was very busy and that I seldom online liao. Haiz, actually by right I should be quite free after a major performance but somehow by left, I am like very occupied. Busy par toring la.

Recently I became more and more vain leh.. Aiyo.. bought clothes.. accessories.. etc. Actually ever since I learnt opera, I became more and more sloppy. Can't be bothered to dress up since I am only going for rehearsals and there are no yandaos at COI. So everytime I just sloppily go lor.. and I realised that May also became like that. Drop standard liao. Can't be bothered to dress up for rehearsals. Last time I not like that one leh..

And the worse thing is rehearsals always falls on Saturday and Sunday and these are the only 2 days which I got time to slowly dress up. If I can't be bothered to dress up on sat and sun and I got no time to dress up during the weekdays for work.. that will mean that I am not dressing up at all. I will look like Auntie.. wah lau eh.. cannot like that leh.

I look at my wardrobe and realised that all my pretty dresses are collecting dust. Kinda sad. I wanted to wear those but thinking of having rehearsals.. like no mood to wear also.. Sian.. Sometimes I just heckcare and dress up for rehearsals and ppl will be like.. "wah.. miko today want to go where??"

hahaha..

everyone ask and ask lor.. but actually not going anywhere lah.. just want to dress up that's all. Cant go on slacking like this.. I am 24 years old leh.. not 42 lor... dammit.

True Love and Airport

Seems like true love and airport has got nothing to do with each other or maybe they do? Maybe you have to go to another country to find true love so the airport comes into picture. Very lame yah i know.

Today HXY came back to Singapore from Taiwan. Hooray! She still look the same cuz this time she did not change hairstyle. I prefer her hairstyle like this now, normal shoulder length hair. She look cooler like this.

Once HXY is back, she can arrange performance and then I can use my hair pcs. Hahaha.. Me and May think alike. Both of us were waiting for chances to try out our new hair pcs. We behave like we will never get to use our hair pcs without HXY..

So today I met May at 9pm at AMK. At first we tot bala will come fetch us at 9pm to go Gelare and eat waffles. Today Waffles half price mah. Who knows this bala go and tu.. tu until 9:45pm then come fetch us.. wah lau.. HXY arriving at 11pm leh.

So we got to Gelare at around 10+. I felt that eating waffles must be done in a slow paced mood mah. Must slowly eat, savour it.. and talk rubbish at the same time. Like that then enjoyable. Haiz.. bo bian leh.. in the end we abit rush. Eat fast, chop chop and left.

Today I met a friend a Gelare.. my god.. its very xie men lor.. cuz May also met a fren there and both of us seldom come to Gelare one lor. Dunno what happen but we both bumped into frens.

After eating, we got to the airport just in time to recieve HXY and WZ, WX, Qiu Yue and Hxy's frens.. Such a big group of them.. my god. The first thing QY said when she saw us was.. "Ah may, I forgot your yakult again." hahaha.. wah lau.. this is the 2nd time that QY forgot May's Yakult. May always ask ppl to buy yakult if they go taiwan. She especially like the yakult there.

Woot.

Ok, so where does this topic of true love comes in?

Today on and off we were talking about love and May declared that there is no true love in this world no matter what the man says now. Yah and I agree also. Between a man and woman, there will not be true love lor. True love only exist in ppl like Mother Theresa, Jesus, Buddha.. etc. Other than these gods, true love does not exist. It does not exist between human being like you and me.

So whoever say 'I love you' to you, he or she may mean it when he/she says it but it is only valid for that few seconds or few minutes. After some time, all feelings will turn cold. Great minds think alike! May and I have concluded the above.

But I think I got my true love...

My true love for Opera.. hahahaha~

Bluetooth

Well, I got some stuff to post here but unfortunately, I lent my bluetooth dongle to YH. I will post up some silly photos after I got the dongle from her ok. Meanwhile, you can see yh's blog where she has posted some ugly photos of me! Urgh..

Talking to myself

Just saw a friend's blog and he mentioned that blogging is like talking to yourself. Ya, somehow I agree with him. Whenever I am blogging, I felt like I am talking to myself. Why talk to myself? I also dunno. Maybe ppl nowadays so stress that they relieve stress by talking to themselves ba. That's wat mad ppl do also. Talk to themselves.. Me too, I talk to myself. Am I mad??
