Fuwa!

For the past few weeks, Mcdonald's has been giving out fuwas for each happy meal you buy. I didn't manage to get jing jing, the panda, and I feel very sad.. :(

Haiz.. never mind, I managed to get Bei bei and Ni ni.

This is ni ni playing volley ball. I like Ni ni! I would like to have the whole set but I didn't like the fuwas when they first came out so I didn't start collecting until they are selling the 4th fuwa. So too bad lor, I can only get 2. KL want jing jing because he likes panda. Too bad, I can't find it anywhere liao.

My Stamps

Hello~

Weird, why did I type 'hello'? I must be thinking that I am typing an email. Mad le.

Remember some time ago I blogged that I went to Beijing? I bought 2 stamps in Beijing bearing my name and my surname. It is so nice to have stamps with your names on it and I can go around stamping all the letters that I sent out.

Recently, I have forgotten about my stamps until I saw it again a few days ago.

My double stamps. Nice right? The one of the left side has a dragon carved on top and the one on the right has a phoenix on top.

These are the prints I stamped. The 2 stemps are made with different styles. One is the 'yin' style and the other the 'yang' style. I don't know which is which. I forgot. When the maker asked me which style I want, I had a hard time to decide. Finally he convinced me that I should have buy a pair of stamps then I can have both styles.

I think they only cost me about $28 to make and the maker completed it in 30 minutes. Cheap right? You can't find this kind of price in Singapore for 2 stamps lor.

8250 Keypad

Anyone got 8250 keypad to spare???? I am in an urgent need for 8250 keypad lor. Ya I know that nowadays nobody uses black and white phone but I think they are excellent for smsing only. I already carry this N82 which is like heavier and bulkier than my previous phones so I decided not to use my old Samsung D500 and instead use a super light and small N8250 which doesn't even cost me a cent.

Haiz.. who knows the faithful and strong 8250 (survived a lot of falls) decided to drop one of its buttons.. SAD.

Missing Number 1...

Pek cek right??? Sian.. some more see the blue ink at the bottom right hand corner? My pen spilled ink into my bag yesterday and now my pink 8250 got this ugly blue mark. Double Pek cek lor. Now my pink wallet and my pink card holder and my pink mp3 all got BLUE INK! Heng my pink psp not inside.

Haiz.. ok la. enough kping. Anyone got 8250 keypad to spare please tell me...

Olympics Mascots

Have you seen the Olympic Mascots? They are called Fuwa. At first I find their design ok only and don't think they were cute but as I watch the Olympic Games, I saw those mascots prancing around during halftime and they were really cute?

à Paris~

Je veux aller à Paris! je voudrais apprendre la langue.

I saw on a website which provides French classes in Paris. The package includes accomodation and is charged weekly. The class will be quite intensive, up to 6 hours per day and the weekly charge will be around 700 Euro. The price doesn't include the airticket though. So if I want to go there for the classes for 2 weeks, the fees will be 1400 Euro which includes accomodation but I will need to buy my own air ticket which is about $1600.

Siong.

But how wonderful it will be if I can go to Paris to learn French and practice with the locals~! So nice right...

My 2 years of French is really going down the drain and I am losing it. Nowadays I try to practice some grammar and listen to some french dialogues to bring back some memories. It is something that I have put alot of effort into before and I don't want to lose it!

Books~

Not only am I a fanatic for opera, I am also a fanatic for books. I love books, the way they look, the way they are printed and the way they provide information. I especially love books nicely arranged like this.

Awww... So lovely right.. I like to touch the books and flip through them. I like to feel the pages inside and smell them. Mad right? Hahaha many people say I am mad to smell books.

When I was younger, my mum hated to bring me to the bookstore because I will spend HOURS there and she will feel very sian. So most of the time, she will leave me in the bookstore or library then she will go do her own shopping.

I have tons of books at home. So many that I don't dare to buy anymore because I have no space to store them. I told KL that I hope I will have my own library one day. Hahaha...

But I cannot lend books to people even if I have my own library because I don't like dog ears, wrinkled pages or any defects on my books. I also don't like people to open my books too wide when reading them. This will spoil the spine of the books.

Bonus haven't announce

It's August already and we still don't know how much variable we are getting or if we are getting any at all.

I pray hard hard that they will give a good amount of variables this year (if there is) cuz I am depleting my bank again! I need the bonus lor, to top up my bank account. Haiz..

I just bought 5 costumes~! Mad right but they are going at a super special price so I bought lor. Saves me the money and time from going to TW personally and save me the postage. Hahaha.. The super special price is only for me lah, other people buy maybe don't have this price. Since the seller so nice, I might as well buy more lor.

So now, I am waiting eagerly for my boss to pass me the letter with the amount of variable I am getting. Last year they gave 3.25 mths but because it was pro-rated, I only got 2.25 mth. If they give 3.25 mth again this year, I will get the full amount! Which is 6.25 mths of bonus in total!

Haiz.. I hope at least got 3 mths la.. No 3 mths, 2 mths also good la... Hahaha..
